Our story
Dino Radosta had no intention of starting a craft brewery. In fact, in 2011, Dino knew nothing of the then 20-year craft beer revolution. Heck, he didn’t even drink beer! Not an impressive start, is it?
Well, Dino did know the “craft” part. Growing up in New Orleans, he loved heritage, community, and anything with a sense of style. Years later when he fell in love with North Carolina, Dino knew he wanted to build something that mattered.
There stood the Service Chevrolet building, on White Street, as it had since 1920. Dino stripped it down and restored it to its original structure and character. The brewhouse and taproom were built with equal care, and the new brewery was named “White Street” to make it easy to find. (Spoiler alert: It didn’t work)
Today, White Street Brewing Co. stands as a prime example of Wake Forest’s history and spirit. We brew our beers with the same level of commitment. We sweat every detail. We don’t cut corners on methods or ingredients, and we never go home early.
So far, it’s worked.
For residents and visitors to Wake Forest, our taproom is wide open. For craft beer that’s actually well-crafted, look for the White Street sign.
